The BRC Food Standard is used to evaluate manufacturers’ food products. It is designed to assist in producing food products of consistent safety and quality and assist with documentation and traceability, should this be required.

This standard is among the toughest and internationally most recognised quality standards. Jakobsens is a grade A accredited company.

Fairtrade today enables progress for farmers and plantation workers in Asia, Africa and South and Central America. The farmers receive a fairer payment for their produce, and get the opportunity to invest in education, healthcare or improve their production facilities. Jakobsens has been approved for using the EU organic logo. The EU logo shows that our organic honeys are produced and controlled equivalent to the standards in the European legislation (834/2007).

On behalf of the Swedish government, KRAV controls and certifies organic production and the mark is a guarantee that consideration to the environment, animal welfare, social responsibility and health during production has been taken.
